This Privacy Policy explains how Infinite Minesweeper (“the App”), developed by Nilay Mehta, collects, uses, and protects your information.
1. Information We Collect
- Game Data: Board progress and touched-cell data are stored locally on your device via Room database.
- Advertising Data: If AdMob is active in the App, Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads.
We do not collect: your name, email, phone number, address, GPS location, contacts, or camera access.
2. Permissions We Request
- Internet/Network access — required only to load ads (if enabled)
3. How We Use Your Information
- To let you resume and continue your game locally
- To serve advertisements, if enabled, via Google AdMob
4. Advertising & Payments
Infinite Minesweeper may show ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may use advertising identifiers for ad personalization, governed by Google’s own privacy policy. The App does not currently offer in-app purchases.
5. Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob — https://policies.google.com/privacy
We do not use reCAPTCHA, Analytics, remarketing tools beyond standard AdMob functionality, or sell your personal information.
6. Data Storage & Security
Game data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal information.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored game data immediately. Advertising identifier data (if applicable) is managed per Google AdMob’s retention policies — see Google’s privacy policy for details.
8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
Infinite Minesweeper is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. Ad content is configured to comply with Google Play’s Families policies if applicable.
9. Your Rights Under GDPR
EEA users may contact mehta.nilay.b@gmail.com to inquire about any advertising data processed through Google AdMob, or manage ad personalization directly through their Google Account settings.
10. Your Rights Under CCPA/CPRA (California Residents)
California residents may opt out of the “sale/sharing” of information for advertising purposes via their device’s ad settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization) or by contacting mehta.nilay.b@gmail.com.
11. CalOPPA Compliance
We do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals at this time.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically; changes will be posted here with an updated date.
